after not doing much grocery shopping for the past month or so, cept for the weekly loaf and milk, one major one was planned for the day. buying lots and lots of stuff, someone asked me if what i bought was for the coming week. which, seeing that the amt bought could feed me 3 times over for a fortnight at least, neednt be asked at all. but as you know, the things ppl ask sometimes. :)

so the conclusion of the shopping trip brought us to the first cup of the day. tiamo just a stone's throw from where i live. its a nice place to go when time is aplenty cos nothing beats sitting around in wonderful weather having a chat with no immediate worries on one's mind. with chris ryan jun tj, talk was about plans after-tare panda seat covers-dota-dinner. dinnertime came too soon with us heading off separately to grab a bite.

after dinner and in the confort of my room, we met up again to head to oriel's. this time a place in the suburb of subiaco. it was packed but its a good the only option for a place if you want a 3am cuppa. makan makan in victoria park was the chosen alternative. $3 teh tarik and kosong pratas will tell you why home is much better (and not to mention cheaper). but it was the best thing around. i tink. it didnt last too long tho.

cos when chris joined us later and decided he was hungry, conca's was next. this place along albany highway serves good chilli mussels with garlic bread. if only i hadnt a stomachache from the teh tarik. :( so it left ally ryan and chris to share since jun cant eat 'cheap' seafood and andrea aint hungry. :P

cant exams be over already? so nites like such can be had without the lingering thought that theres something that needs doing. sigh...
