by noon today my 'school' brain was already on holiday. lol. lunched at mr samurai with jay once again and then heading back to school for a last workshop. then it was off to subi with the housemates! :) i hadnt realised earlier that it was the opening match at subiaco oval. that probably explained why the tics ran out so quickly. ohwells. turned out that the seats we got werent so bad. tho the tier two seats had a superb view i must say. having gone ard for a look during half-time. :P so off we went, two $34 fans and a $74 fan (wayne got the jersey too.. heh) to our first footie match! :)
match day finally arrives. $20 scarves. $14 tickets. amazing crowd.
restricted viewing seats. 40036 spectators. afl season opening match in subi oval. 
eagles up by 2nd quarter and neva looked back. booze and boos aplenty.
there in the end. the first victory this season for the west coast eagles.
